Résultat nickel, on voit rien.

How Do I Use Tibetan Prayer Beads. What Do You Mean By Malas?
Mala is the Sanskrit term used to describe the first prayer beads, which are used to make a count of mantra repetitions. Malas are found in Tibetan Buddhist communities around the globe, either wrapped around the wrists or hanging from the fingers. They are usually coupled with the humming of mantra recitations such as Om mani padme, Om tuttare, ture soha or om mun muni maha-muniye soha. In Tibetan we call them trengwa. Because Tibetan Buddhist practice often involves repeating certain mantras out loud or in a mental way, thousands or even hundreds of thousand times, it's beneficial to record the number of times you have prayed with your rosary, as a spiritual Abacus. Even if you're not actively counting, the repeated repeating of the mantra proceeding bead by bead through the mala can help be a focus for the mind and help it to relax. The most popular mala type is a string made of 108 beads made of precious or semi-precious stones, wood, seeds or even bone. If you make 100 mantras as you go, then you'll be considered to be done with the mala. The remaining 8 beads count as "spare" to make up for any miscounts or mistakes that you make in the process. The head bead is also larger than the rest and is commonly referred to as"guru" beads. However, it's crucial to the circuit's starting point, and is not included in the total of 108 beads. Sometimes, malas contain additional precious stones added at different intervals, like some coral or turquoise, for instance. These can sometimes be added at intervals that you can count, like following 27 beads. The counter beads are an additional and your total count will be 111 instead of 108. A smaller mala with 27 beads, which is worn around the wrist can also be used to make prostrations. In this scenario, the smaller size is wrapped around your hand and repeated four times. There are many other configurations which can be created like 21 or 22. This is acceptable so long as you are able to count with your mala.

Types of Malas
There are numerous types that you can choose from, including ivory and bone, sandalwood and lazis liii or crystal. There are many theories on which type of mala is best to use for different types of prayers, we don't think it is a big deal. We believe that Tibetans generally do not make huge distinctions in the types and applications of malas. Monks and nuns are likely to use cheap malas that are simple and simple to keep like wooden ones. It is possible to make use of any mala that you want. It is best to concentrate on the practice of spirituality that involves chanting mantras and praying instead of the aesthetics or value of your mala. Check out the top rated Nepali Mala for info.

How To Hold And Count Your Malas
We'd like to remind you, like Tibetan culture usually does, that there is no standard for malas and counting mantras. Each person does it in a different manner. There are several common practices however they don't affect your intention or your attitude to prayer. You're doing what is right if you pray with your heart and use your mala. While some sources suggest that you should hold the mala with your left hand, other sources suggest using it in your right. However, many Tibetans prefer to hold the mala with their right hands. It is typical to keep your mala on one hand, with your prayer wheel on another. It is possible to use your mala by starting with the first beads near the "guru". Hold the mala between the thumb and the index fingers. Repeat your mantra once at a time, either slowly or loudly. With a rolling motion of the thumb, move to the next bead. After you've completed the mantra, repeat it again. By the time you reach the guru bead, you will have completed 100 mantras. Most Tibetans do not leave the guru's bead at this point. Instead, they reverse the direction and turn the mala back to start a new circuit with 100 mantras, returning to the original path. It's unclear why this is the case. We do it because we're used to doing it.

Caring for your Mala
Your mala will grow more significant spiritually when you utilize it to recite mantras, carry it to teachings, and have it blessed possibly by your Guru. Although it's not as sacred as a Buddhist statue or piece of scripture however, it's something we generally treat with reverence. It is not a good idea to throw it away, put it on the ground, or put objects that aren't sacred to it. Tibetans utilize their malas to wrap around their wrists, or around their necks. They are not meant to be worn as necklaces or for self-deprecation, instead, they are a means of showing faith. If you aren't using it for some time or are sleeping or asleep, hang it in a clean, high place near your altar. Ours is kept on a specific bookcase beneath our altar. It's all dependent on you and your desire to handle it with love and respect, all while keeping an approach that is practical and non-stressful.
