J'ai eu le cas il y a tres longtemps sur ma Golf II GTI 16S, meme avec une batterie de 18V impossible de demarrer, la cause:

Moteur gelé, l'ancien proprio avait cru intelligent de remplacer le liquide de refroidissement par de l'eau....

Verifie tes durites

apparament t'aurais peut-etre un probleme d'avance a l'allumage,si il y a trop d'avance le moteur a tendence a bloquer

ola, je vais rectifier ça, c'est un moteur 1.7 td diesel, je me suis tromper avec ma vectra . la c'est la vectra de mon frere qui est une 1.7 td de "decembre 1996" (comme la mienne).

le liqui de refroidissement n'est pas geler, ça coule quand je retire la durite, et il y a du liquide qui resiste jusqu'a -25°c

autre possibilité: le contacteur de solénoide du démarreur.

contacteur de solinoide = verifié, j'ai brancher le solinoide sur une batterie independante pour verifié si il n'y avait pas de court circuit, puis j'ai brancher le + en sortie du solinoide sur une batterie d'une autre voiture en fonctionnement, ==> le moteur tourne avec du mal
toutes les masses et les " + " on été gratter nettoyer, et graisser

quand le démarreur a tourné 5 à 10 secondes, est-il brulant (pas tiède, ca c'est normal, mais vraiment chaud)?

je l'ai fait tourné 10 seconde, et le demarreur était froid, faut dire que avec la temperature qu'il fait dehors c'est peut etre normal.
autrechose, je viens de faire une vidange, je pensais que l'huile était trop epaisse et freinait le lancement du moteur. et bun non

meme par -40, un démarreur qui tourne 10S, ca chauffe!

et le pourquoi de ma question:

s'il est bouillant, y'a de grandes chances qu'il soit en court-circuit. apparement c'est pas ton cas.

s'il reste froid, c'est qu'il ne recoit pas assez de puissance, donc soit sous-alimenté, soit charbons usés, soit mauvais contacts quelque part, soit ta boite est mal serrée sur le moteur (rigoles pas, j'ai eu le cas!!!).
