j'avais un concessionnaire opel qui s'est occupé pendant des années de ma voiture , mais il a vendu son garage et a déménagé pour s'établir dans le sud ; je roule beaucoup depuis quelques années ; il y a 4 ans environ il m'avait installé un kit de distribution renforcé , donné d'après lui pour 120000 km ,sur mon V6 .117000 km après il m'a installé un 2ème kit renforcé ; je viens de faire 105000 km et je me suis renseigné du coup de l'opération à faire d'ici 10000 km auprès du garage Sama à Colmar. D'après eux le kit renforcé n'existe pas et c'est 60000 km et si la couroie lâche maintenant c'est pour mes pieds vu que sur les factures n'est pas mentionné "kit 120000 km"; j'ai pu avoir un rendez-vous pour le 20 de ce mois , mais avec mes 5000 km par moi il faudra que la couroie tiennent encore 2500 km ????

Je pense que tu veux parler de kit de distribution et non de kit d'embrayage, car changer un embrayage tous les 120000 c'est pas cool.

A priori il n'existe pas 36 fabriquants de courroies, la quasi totalité c'est du gates (fabriquant allemand). Celles estampillées GM chez Opel viennent de chez Gates également d'après ce que j'ai pu me renseigner.
Quelque soit la marque du kit acheté, j'ai constaté que c'était toujours les mêmes pièces à l'intérieur :
courroie gates (made in UK ou germany)
galets enrouleur INA (made in slovaquie ou germany)
galet tendeur litens (made in canada)
J'ai déjà acheté un kit gates et un kit SKF, ce sont rigoureusement les mêmes pièces que dans le kit Opel, aux inscriptions GM près.
Après reste à savoir ce qu'ils appellent kit renforcé : courroie renforcée ou galets renforcés ? Car bien souvent, les casses résultent de galets qui lachent, ou pompe à eau. Les galets sont un peu merdiques, c'est plein de plastique, et avec la chauffe...
Si tu as un peu de courage, essaie de déposer ton carter de distribution et regarde s'il reste encore des inscriptions.
Pour le kilométrage, c'est un principe de précaution, car si tu plies les soupapes... Ca m'est arrivé il y a 3 semaines, une vis de la pompe à huile s'est cassée, ça a du vibrer (le galet tendeur travaille beaucoup) et la pompe s'est fissurée, le galet tendeur s'est retrouvé non fixé et mes AAC désynchronisés, 16 soupapes pliées (et pas qu'un peu) + pompe à huile à changer. En cherchant autre part que chez Opel (je n'ose imaginer leurs tarifs, pas loin de 2500 voire 3000 € à mon avis), j'ai trouvé un atelier de rectif sérieux qui a pu me refaire la culasse pour pas trop cher et des soupapes pour moitié prix de chez Opel. Je vais m'en sortir entre 1000 et 1500 €, et encore, j'ai de la chance qu'aucun poussoir n'a souffert. Sur un V6, 2 culasse et 24 soupapes, je te laisse imaginer le carnage.

On a deja entendu parler de kit renforcé 120 000 km pour les V6 sur le forum., apres j'en sais pas plus.
j'ai rectifié ...désolé , mes doigts ont fourché : en réalité c'étaient d'après le copain garagiste les galets qui guidaient mieux la couroie avec un rebord un peu plus relevé ...quant à démonter pour regarder sur le V6 c'est galère ![]()

Je ne vois pas franchement l'intérêt d'avoir un rebord plus prononcé, c'est pas ça qui fera que la courroie ou les galets dureront plus longtemps. Par contre si les galets pouvaient être d'une meilleure finition que de vulgaires plastiques, ça pourrait aider.
