je ne comprends pas bien ce que tu entends par odeur de gaz...
Pour la lambda, ça peut se tester au voltmètre en vérifiant la tension aux bornes de la lambda, il me semble qu'on doit trouver entre 0.1 et 0.8V.
Assure toi que ton allumage est impeccable, un coup de nettoyant injecteurs dans l'essence, même si la meilleure solution pour décrasser c'est de démonter les injecteurs et les porter dans un garage pour les passer au bain à ultrasons, ça coûtera pas plus cher qu'un flacon de nettoyant essence je pense.

j'ai une 1.6 aussi, et franchement , elle pue aussi au ralentie !!!! Pourtant, je suis toujours passé sans probleme au controle ( dont le dernier, il y a moins d'un mois).

Ca peut venir d'une mauvaise combustion, les bougies filtre... sont changés régulièrement?
Oui pour les bougies et le filtre c'est nickel. Ce matin j'ai regardé la sonde lambda et la tension quand le moteur est arrêté est en dessous de la normale. Quand le moteur tourne c'est conforme. Quelle influence ? J'ai vu que la vanne EGR est sous le collecteur et l'accès ? Je pense que je vais la passer au banc pour savoir ce qui déconne.
Ca m'aurait étonné que ça soit la lambda, ça aurait renovyé un code d'erreur au calculo et un voyant d'erreur.

J'ai essayé de débrancher la sonde lambda et laissé tourner 30 secondes et rien s'est allumé. C'était peut-être trop court pour que le calculateur intègre ou alorsil n'y a pas de voyant pour ce défaut.
Il se peut que le contrôle de la lambda soit désactivé au démarrage et jusqu'à ce que les gaz d'échappement soient à bonne température, les lambda ne marchent pas bien à froid.
